General Practice (Veterinarian)

Introduction
Our client is a full-service animal hospital currently hiring a Veterinarian to join their experienced team. This small animal practice is dedicated to providing high-quality medical care to dogs and cats, combining advanced veterinary services with a strong emphasis on client communication and compassionate service.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Tuesday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Friday from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. It is closed on Sundays. The position is available on a full-time or part-time basis, with flexibility to accommodate scheduling needs.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinarian will be responsible for all typical GP duties and responsibilities, including physical examinations, surgeries, and dentistry. A high standard of client communication and education is essential to the role. Proficiency in surgery is considered a plus. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The hospital utilizes Avimark electronic medical records and is equipped with in-house and external lab diagnostics, including a urinalysis analyzer, digital radiography, and ultrasound. In addition to standard general practice services such as wellness checks, surgery, dentistry, and some urgent care, the practice also provides advanced care in cardiology, endocrinology, oncology, ophthalmology, and orthopedics. The culture is centered on delivering exceptional care through teamwork, professionalism, and compassion.

Team
You would be joining a team of eight DVMs in a collaborative environment, supported by a dedicated team of support staff. The practice values mentorship, team-based care, and continuous professional development.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
