We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Associate Veterinarian to join our team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Veterinary Care: Provide comprehensive veterinary care for small animals, including wellness exams, vaccinations, diagnostics, treatment of illnesses, and preventive care.
  • Surgical Proficiency: Perform routine surgeries such as spays, neuters, dental cleanings, and more advanced surgical procedures as required.
  • Client Communication: Educate pet owners on the health and wellness needs of their pets, provide clear explanations of treatment plans, and offer guidance on preventive care.
  • Diagnostic Services: Utilize diagnostic tools such as digital radiography, ultrasound, and in-house laboratory services to diagnose and treat various conditions.
  • Patient Care: Provide high-quality, individualized care to patients, focusing on pain management, recovery, and overall well-being.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with a skilled team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to ensure exceptional patient care and client satisfaction.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain detailed and accurate medical records for all patients, adhering to clinic policies and regulatory standards.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine through continuing education and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school.
  • Valid veterinary license to practice in South Carolina (or the ability to obtain one).
  • 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred, though new graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in small animal surgery, diagnostics, and emergency care is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and team members.
  • Compassionate, professional, and detail-oriented with a strong commitment to high-quality care.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
