Available Title(s): 255N-YN_CS_NPS - Instruction & Classroom Support Technician 2 Business Title: Instruction & Classroom Support Technician 2-Clinical Instructional Services Employee Type: Classified Position Details: Summary of Duties: The Instruction and Classroom Support Technician 2 will assist with DVM professional student instructional laboratories within the Clinical Instructional Service area. Assist students during laboratories and surgeries and provide pre- and post-op care as needed. Order supplies and maintain equipment for laboratory use. Lead temporary employees. Additional Information: This is a full time (100% FTE), permanent position. This position is overtime eligible. Monthly Salary: $3,925 - $5,271 | Range 44 (Steps A-M) | Successful candidates are typically hired at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28. In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate's current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position. Required Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree with major study in specific instructional area; or equivalent education/experience. Must pass WSU radiation safety training exam first time it is available. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a teaching/laboratory setting Experiences working with small and large animals. Experience working in a Veterinary Clinic / Hospital setting.
