About the Role

As a Surgical Veterinarian / Future Medical Director, you will focus on high-quality surgical and dental procedures while receiving mentorship to transition into a leadership role. Key responsibilities include:

• Performing general practice dentistry and soft tissue surgery.
• Providing comprehensive patient care and client education.
• Collaborating with an experienced team of veterinarians and support staff.
• Upholding and enhancing medical standards within the hospital.
• Working closely with the current Medical Director to prepare for a smooth leadership transition in 2026.

Future Medical Director Responsibilities

• Leading and mentoring veterinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care.

• Overseeing DVM schedules, compliance protocols, and performance reviews.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited program.
• Active Maryland veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain one).
• Experience in general practice dentistry and soft tissue surgery.
• Interest in leadership and willingness to grow into the Medical Director role.
