We are seeking a dedicated Small Animal Veterinarian to join our team. Located in Delphos, Ohio, Our Clinic is a well-established practice offering comprehensive veterinary care to small animal patients. We are looking for a compassionate veterinarian who is passionate about providing high-quality care to pets and building long-lasting relationships with their owners. Key Responsibilities:

  • Veterinary Care: Provide excellent medical care to small animal patients, including wellness exams, vaccinations, diagnostics, and treatment of various illnesses and injuries.
  • Surgical Skills: Perform routine surgeries such as spays, neuters, and dental procedures, along with more advanced surgical procedures as needed.
  • Client Communication: Educate clients about their pets' health, preventive care, and treatment options. Build strong relationships with pet owners through clear communication and compassionate care.
  • Diagnostics: Utilize diagnostic tools such as digital radiography, ultrasound, and in-house laboratory services to effectively diagnose and treat patients.
  • Emergency Care: Provide emergency care during regular hours, handling urgent cases with skill and professionalism.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with a team of veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and support staff to ensure high standards of patient care and clinic efficiency.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain detailed and accurate medical records for each patient, ensuring compliance with clinic protocols and regulatory standards.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine through continuing education opportunities and engagement in professional organizations.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school.
  • Valid veterinary license to practice in Ohio (or the ability to obtain one).
  • 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong interest in small animal medicine, surgery, and preventive care.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to educate and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Compassionate, detail-oriented, and dedicated to providing the best possible care for pets and their families.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Experience with emergency care is a plus but not required.
