VRRH was founded by Michael Newman DVM, MS to provide the best medical care for the Tennessee Valley. We are a special veterinary facility skilled in providing orthopedic, neurological, general surgery and 24/7 Emergency Care. Our staff of skilled doctors along with professional support staff work closely with referring general practice veterinarians to insure their patient's surgical and diagnostic needs are met.

Our Practice
Our hospital is equipped to perform most major soft tissue surgeries, particularly of the abdomen and chest. Surgeries involving neoplasia are frequently performed. Follow-up Chemo therapy is also available in appropriate cases. Orthopedic surgery includes joint and fracture repair using the latest equipment and techniques. All forms of fixation devices are available for the use in the most complicate orthopedic cases. Internal medicine includes the diagnosis and treatment for a variety of illnesses including blood disorders, gastrointestinal diseases and endocrine diseases. Spinal Column evaluations include plain, contrast radiography, Computerized Tomagraphy, and cerebrospinal fluid analysis for intervetebral disc herniations, infections, neoplasia and degenerative changes.
