Akron Veterinary Referral & Emergency Center (AVREC) is regarded by many as Northeast Ohio's finest veterinary specialty hospital. AVREC is designed to provide advanced surgical, medical, emergency and critical care for dogs and cats. We work closely with general practice veterinarians throughout Ohio and surrounding states.
At AVREC, our board certified specialists, experienced emergency medicine doctors and trained staff work in tandem with our clients and their family veterinarians to provide the best care available. We act as an extension of our clients' family veterinarians when specialized diagnostic treatments, procedures or surgeries are required.
