For over 23 years, Who Let The Dogs Out! has been San Francisco's trusted name in professional dog walking. We specialize in white paw service with pickups, transportation and park time where we give our pups the adventure-filled breaks they deserve. We've built something special here and we take that seriously. Now we're looking for our next Leader of the Pack to grow with us. We will fully train the right person but make no mistake, this is a hard, physically demanding, and deeply rewarding role.

A DAY IN YOUR LIFE
8:30am Check our Slack channel to see which dogs are attending play group, confirm the day's roster with owners, and plan your pickup route in our company-supplied van.
Group 1 Pickup Enter homes and offices professionally, leash up your first group of 68 dogs, safely load them into the van, and transport them to an off-leash park in the downtown area.
2-Hour Outing Supervise off-leash play, manage group dynamics, and make sure every dog is safe, happy, and having the time of their life.
Drop-off & Group 2 Return group one, then head back out to pick up your second group of 68 dogs for their 2-hour adventure.
By 3:00pm All pups safely returned, vehicle maintained and secured. Another great day done.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safely drive a large company-supplied van through San Francisco for daily pickups and drop-offs
- Enter all environments professionally and handle 68 dogs per group with confidence and care
- Supervise off-leash play groups, proactively managing safety and group dynamics at all times
- Communicate daily with headquarters and dog owners via Slack, text, phone or email attendance confirmations, updates, and any incidents
- Maintain the company vehicle in clean, professional condition it's our brand on wheels
- Represent Who Let The Dogs Out! with professionalism and warmth in every community interaction
- Problem-solve calmly and quickly no two days with dogs are ever exactly the same

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING
- Must currently live in San Francisco
- Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record
- Comfortable and confident driving a large van in the city
- Endless love for dogs this isn't just a job, it's a calling
- Physical stamina you'll be on your feet for hours, in all weather conditions
- Strong communication skills clear, timely, and professional with clients and our team
- Smartphone proficiency Slack, messaging apps, and navigation are part of your daily workflow
- Problem-solving mindset calm, quick, and decisive when the unexpected happens
- Ability to commit to a minimum of one year we invest in training you; we ask you to invest in us
