Long-Established Marin Dog Walking Company Seeking Pet Care Provider

At LegUp Dog Walking & Pet Care, we are proud to be celebrating our 23rd year of providing award-winning pet care to Marin County residents. Based in San Rafael, our philosophy is simple: we treat our clients pets as our own never as a commodity. We pride ourselves on personalized care, reliability, and positive reinforcement.

We are currently looking for a dependable freelance pet care provider to join the team.

Location: Central San Rafael
Schedule: MondayFriday
Hours: Approximately 9:45am 2:45pm
Compensation: Approximately $3,000/month from dog walking routes, plus 100% of any boarding/overnight care revenue

Ideal candidates are:

Honest, dependable, and professional
Comfortable walking and handling up to 6 dogs at once (various sizes and breeds)
Experienced with dog walking and/or pet care
Able to board dogs in their home and/or provide overnight care at clients homes (including weekends and holidays)
Have reliable transportation that can safely accommodate 6 medium-sized dogs
Have a valid drivers license
Able to lift approximately 30 pounds
Based in Marin County
18+
Able to commit for at least one year

This is an established route with growth potential and the opportunity to build long-term client relationships.

Training will be provided. Background checks are required for all candidates.
