General Practice (Veterinarian)

Introduction
Our client is a collaborative and well-established practice that has proudly served the Gastonia, North Carolina community since 1945. They are currently hiring for an Associate Veterinarian to join their dedicated team. The hospital is known for its high-quality medicine, exceptional client service, and a strong reputation built over decades of compassionate care.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates on a walk-in model with appointments available Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Saturday hours are from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM, and the hospital is closed on Sundays. Each day includes a two-hour break from noon to 2:00 PM for lunch and resource time.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide services across wellness care, preventative care, surgery, and dentistry. The role offers exposure to a wide variety of cases thanks to the walk-in practice model and is well-suited to veterinarians who enjoy a fast-paced, client-focused environment. This position is open to veterinarians who thrive in a supportive and collaborative setting.

Practice Details
The hospital sees cats, dogs, and pocket pets and operates out of a 5,000-square-foot facility. Services include wellness, preventative care, surgery, and dentistry. The practice is deeply integrated into the community and maintains a warm, welcoming environment for both clients and staff.

You would be joining as the third DVM, supported by a passionate and welcoming team. The culture is defined by collaboration, mutual support, and a shared commitment to providing excellent care to a loyal clientele.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
