Experienced Associate Veterinarian

We are seeking an Associate Veterinarian in Morehead City NC.You will be responsible for providing high-quality veterinary care to our clients' beloved pets. You will work closely with a supportive team of veterinarians, technicians, and support staff to ensure optimal patient care and client satisfaction. This position is ideal for a veterinarian who is passionate about small animal medicine and eager to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care to companion animals.
• Perform diagnostic evaluations and develop treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Educate clients on preventative care , treatment options, and post-care instructions.
• Maintain accurate medical records in line with hospital standards.
• Collaborate with fellow veterinarians and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
• Keep up to date with current veterinary practices and technologies.

Qualifications:

• DVM or VMD from an accredited veterinary school.
• Licensed to practice in North Carolina (or eligible for licensure).
• At least 2-5 years of experience in small animal medicine required (no new grads, please).
• Strong diagnostic and surgical skills .
• Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills .
• A team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
