Our client is a hospital seeking a Veterinary Medical Director to lead their dedicated team in delivering high-quality care to cats and dogs. This full-time leadership role offers a flexible schedule to be discussed with the successful candidate and is ideal for an experienced veterinarian ready to guide clinical operations within a collaborative environment.
Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position with a schedule to be discussed. The hospital is open Monday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Tuesday through Friday from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm. The hospital is closed on weekends.
Role Description and Responsibilities
A Veterinary Medical Directors primary clinical responsibility is to oversee and ensure the quality and safety of patient care. This includes managing the clinical team, developing and implementing clinical strategies, and overseeing all aspects of patient care. They also ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines. This role is open to experienced veterinarians only.
Practice Details
The hospital is AAHA accredited and Fear-Free accredited, featuring advanced equipment including digital dental and digital radiography, rehab and orthopedic procedure equipment, cold laser therapy, ultrasound, and a Tonopen. The facility includes a dedicated dental suite and offers boarding and grooming services. Available services include animal rehabilitation, advanced surgery, cold laser therapy, ultrasound, preventative care, and primary care.
Team
The team includes 3 DVMs working together in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
