General Practice (Medical Director Veterinarian)

Introduction
Our client is a multi-doctor small animal hospital that provides care exclusively for cats and dogs. They are currently hiring for a Medical Director to lead their veterinary team.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open daily from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM and is closed on Sundays to allow for flexible scheduling. This is a full-time position.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Medical Director will lead the hospitals veterinary team, mentor and coach both veterinarians and support staff, and oversee candidate interviewing and onboarding processes. The role is responsible for upholding and driving the quality of patient care within the hospital. This position requires an experienced doctor.

Practice Details
This is a full-service hospital offering vaccinations, routine wellness checkups, treatment for illness and injury, imaging, surgery, dentistry, and prescription medications. The hospital is equipped with advanced tools including ultrasound in every location, heated hydraulic surgery tables, and DDXR technology.

Team
The hospital is a multi-doctor practice supported by a tenured and experienced support team. The environment promotes collaboration, mentorship, and skill development across all levels of the hospital staff.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
