Urgent Care (Veterinarian)

Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing dedicated urgent care veterinary services for cats and dogs in the Cypress, Texas area. They are currently hiring for an Urgent Care Veterinarian to join their modern, purpose-built facility. The hospital operates solely in the urgent care space, bridging the gap between daytime general practice and emergency/overnight care.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open from 3pm to 11pm Monday through Friday and from 10am to 8pm on weekends. The role offers flexibility for either full-time or part-time employment, with doctor hours open to discussion.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Urgent Care Veterinarian will manage a variety of common urgent cases such as wound management, ear infections, vomiting/diarrhea, and euthanasia. The position involves single-doctor shifts, so while confident new graduates may be considered, experienced veterinarians are preferred.

Practice Details
This is a brand-new, modern facility offering strictly urgent careno wellness services and no abdominal surgeries. The clinic takes a Fear Free approach and is a Feline Friendly Practice. It features cloud-based EMR, digital x-ray, and a complete suite of IDEXX in-house lab equipment.

Team
The hospital is supported by a strong team of technical staff. The working environment is described as team-oriented with solid support infrastructure.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
