General Practice (Veterinarian)

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Urgent Care Veterinarian to join their team at a brand-new location. This full-service animal hospital provides veterinary care to cats and dogs, including routine medical, surgical, dental, and urgent care services. They are looking for a veterinarian with experience in urgent care who is confident working independently and thrives in high-pressure situations, delivering calm, sound decision-making.

Working Hours / Rota
The position offers flexibility for full- or part-time work. Ideally, the successful candidate will work three 10-hour shifts from Friday to Sunday, providing essential out-of-hours coverage for pet parents.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role focuses exclusively on urgent care responsibilities. Due to the solo nature of the shifts, the position is best suited for experienced veterinarians who are comfortable handling a fast-paced caseload independently. The successful candidate will need to bring a composed and confident approach to managing urgent cases.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art, updated equipment and is designed to support a wide range of veterinary services for cats and dogs. It functions as a full-service facility, offering routine medical care, surgery, dentistry, and urgent care, ensuring a varied and engaging caseload.

Team
The team will include one DVM supported by a strong group of support staff who are committed to assisting the doctor and maintaining a collaborative, supportive environment.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
