General Practice (Veterinarian)

Introduction
Our client is a hospital that provides care for cats and dogs and is currently hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. They are looking to add a compassionate and skilled DVM to their team to support their growing general practice services.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 6:00pm, and on Saturday from 8:00am to 12:00pm. The schedule for doctors is open to discussion, and the hospital is offering flexibility for either full-time or part-time employment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This position involves the full range of general practice responsibilities, including preventive care, diagnostics, treatment, and client communication. The role welcomes both experienced veterinarians and new graduates who are eager to grow in a supportive and collaborative setting.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with advanced tools including a tonopen, dental X-ray, and ultrasound with Doppler capabilities. It features a fully equipped in-house lab and uses the latest anesthesia protocols. The practice is proud to be a Fear Free Hospital, with a Fear Free Certified Veterinary Assistant on staff. It offers comprehensive medical care across a wide range of services, including internal medicine, cardiology, endocrinology, pain management, acupuncture, ophthalmology, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, dentistry, behavioral and nutritional counseling, dermatology, and more.

Team
The medical team includes one DVM supported by a collaborative group of staff members who enable veterinarians to focus on their clinical duties.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
