Gold Coast Center for Veterinary Care is seeking a Veterinarian – Internal Medicine Specialist (DACVIM or Residency-Trained) to join our expanding state-of-the-art specialty center in Huntington, NY. Exciting Facility Expansion in 2025!

We are expanding into a larger specialty facility to provide enhanced patient care and a superior working environment. The expansion includes:

  • 8,000 additional sq. ft. of treatment space.
  • New operating room and six additional exam rooms.
  • Dedicated CT room & in-house lab upgrades.

About the Role

As an Internal Medicine Specialist, you will be an integral part of our collaborative specialty team, providing expert diagnostics and treatment for complex cases. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing advanced diagnostics and developing comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Collaborating with board-certified specialists in Surgery, Cardiology, Oncology, and Rehabilitation.
  • Providing clinical guidance to general practitioners and support staff.
  • Delivering high-quality, compassionate client and patient care.
  • Utilizing cutting-edge technology in a progressive and supportive work environment.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited program.
  • Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (DACVIM) or residency-trained in Internal Medicine.
  • Active New York veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain one).
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in internal medicine (specialty hospital or referral setting preferred), or completion of an internal medicine residency.
  • Commitment to collaboration and practicing the highest standard of medicine.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
