Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and treat a variety of medical conditions in companion animals

  • Perform routine and complex surgeries, including spays, neuters, and soft tissue procedures

  • Conduct wellness exams, vaccinations, and preventative care consultations

  • Provide clear, compassionate communication with pet owners regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up care

  • Collaborate with experienced veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure the highest quality of patient care

  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

  • Stay current with the latest advancements in veterinary medicine through ongoing education

Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution

  • Licensed or eligible for veterinary licensure in Pennsylvania

  • Strong diagnostic and surgical skills (or a willingness to learn and develop them)

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of patient care
