Pine Woods Animal Hospital is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician who is Certified in Canine Rehabilitation to join our team! Our Rehab Team is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for dogs through specialized rehabilitation therapies. In this role, you will float between GP and Rehab to support the clinic's needs. As a Rehab Technician, you will build relationships with clients by supporting their pets recovering from injury, surgery, or those with chronic conditions. We are seeking an enthusiastic, compassionate Licensed Veterinary Technician with a strong background in animal health and physical therapy. This is a Full time position (35 hours/week), with flexibility in scheduling options. Shifts can range from 6-10 hours/day with availability needed Monday-Friday and one Saturday each month. Minimum Qualifications and Skillset: Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of New York Current Canine Rehabilitation Therapist Certification (CCRT) 3+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting Proficiency in the following skills: Client communication and the ability to work effectively within a team Experience with rehab treatments including hydrotherapy, massage, & manual therapy Ability to effectively educate pet owners on at-home exercises to support recovery At Pine Woods Animal Hospital, our seven-doctor team believes in treating all patients as if they were our own pets, and giving them the love, attention and care that your pets deserve.
