Job Description

Are you looking to make a difference, one animal at a time?  Due to expanding needs, Forgotten Cats Inc is seeking a part time or full time veterinarian to join our compassionate team, working to reduce the homeless cat population through trap, neuter, vaccinate, and return (TNVR). Our ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills and demonstrate a genuine concern for pets and our mission. All experience levels are welcome to apply, including new graduates.

Duties may include:

  • Spay and Neuter Cats for the TNVR Program and Adoption Program
  • Surgical Preparation and Emergency Surgeries
  • Wellness Exams and Preventive Care including Vaccinating Cats
  • Medical Treatment including Prescribing Medicine as Needed

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree (DVM) is Required
  • Excellent professionalism and Communication Skills
  • Commitment to Ongoing Development and Growth
  • 2 years or more Surgical Experience Spaying / Neutering Cats

This employment opportunity offers a flexible schedule and location, working within one of our 3 clinics in PA (Trainer and Willow Grove) and/or Lincoln, DE.

Over the last 16 years, more than 135,000 cats received surgery or medical treatment within our facilities. In addition, over 15,000 homeless cats were removed from the streets to be given a second chance on life with loving adopters.
