Some regions require Veterinary Technicians to pass the Veterinary Technician National Examination (VTNE) to become licensed or certified. Additionally, they should have strong technical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, patience, and a genuine love for animals. They should also be capable of handling stressful situations and making quick decisions in emergency situations.
