About the Role

As a Medical Director, you will combine leadership, mentorship, and clinical expertise to oversee emergency care operations while fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment. Key responsibilities include:

• Providing medical leadership and overseeing clinical protocols.
• Mentoring and developing veterinarians, technicians, and support staff.
• Upholding hospital standards and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Collaborating with leadership to drive hospital growth and efficiency.
• Maintaining a positive, team-oriented hospital culture.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited university.
• Active Virginia veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain one).
• Minimum of 3+ years of emergency medicine experience, with leadership experience preferred.
• Passionate about mentorship, staff development, and clinical excellence.
• Effective communicator and team leader with strong decision-making skills.
