JOB DUTIES: Support the development and implementation of the company's pricing strategy with concentration on the Ocean Freight Product line. Support in the maintenance and promotion of pricing rules guidelines, policies, strategies, and operating procedures. Support the development of pricing tools to track and evaluate market price movements and product positioning that allow for the company to effectively respond to changing market needs and trends. Support the analysis of historical data from a variety of sources and use statistical modelling methods to derive insights into pricing strategies, and how they will impact profitability and sales volume. Support the price communication plans, including the creation and distribution of training and related support materials. Support the team's training to meet the company's services and regulatory compliance objectives. Support the continuous review and modification, to maintain optimal service standards, team efficiency, and productivity levels. Work with Co-loaders to secure competitive Co-load rates. Establish and build relationships with carriers. Quote various types of rates (port-to-port, intermodal, over the road, railroad, transshipment, Customs Brokerage, Forwarding & Warehousing) and effectively work with the Product team in developing rates as per customer's needs. Prepare certain local bids for specific customers to secure cargo, focusing on the Ocean service. Supervise Pricing Department in absence of Director of Pricing USA & Canada.
