General Practice (Veterinarian)

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an associate veterinarian to join their team. This is a small animal practice with an exciting 50% avian and exotics caseload, offering a dynamic and diverse clinical environment for those with a passion for non-traditional species.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8am to 6pm, Saturday from 8am to 4pm, and closed on Sundays. This is a full-time position, with the ideal schedule being four weekdays with rotating Saturdays. Specific doctor hours are open to discussion, offering some flexibility.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This is a full general practice role involving all standard responsibilities. The position is open to experienced veterinarians only.

Practice Details
The hospital is AAHA-accredited and provides a high standard of care with state-of-the-art equipment. Their modern, well-equipped facility includes digital radiography, ultrasound, in-house lab, therapeutic laser, and a surgical suite tailored for exotic species. Services offered include acupuncture, wellness exams for exotic pets, surgery, emergency services, internal medicine, and dentistry.

Team
The hospital team includes six DVMs and tenured support staff, contributing to a knowledgeable and stable working environment.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
