Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be a believer in the possibilities of high quality veterinary medicine and patient carewith the expertise and technical know-how to make them happen. In this position you will be supporting our Doctors and Technician team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients. Duties will include: Obtain prescription authorization from doctors Fill prescriptions Help health care providers and patients by greeting them in person and by phone; answering questions and requests. Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed medications and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt; removing outdated drugs. Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
