Emergency (Veterinarian)

Introduction Our client is a well-established, AAHA-accredited 24-hour emergency and specialty referral hospital in Loveland, Colorado, seeking Emergency Veterinarians to join their team. The hospital has been serving the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains since 2000 and provides expert emergency and specialty care for companion animals in a modern, well-equipped facility.

Working Hours / Rota The emergency team follows a structured five-week rotation that balances day, overnight, and weekend shifts. Schedules are designed to provide consecutive shifts and ensure a minimum of two days between overnight and day shifts. ER veterinarians work closely with management to create schedules that support teamwork and work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities The Emergency Veterinarian will manage a diverse caseload of urgent and critical cases, collaborating with the hospitals specialty services and leading a highly skilled support team. Clinical duties include emergency care, diagnostics, surgery, and patient management. The hospital fosters a fear-free approach to patient care and promotes a supportive, collaborative culture. This role is open to experienced emergency veterinarians who are passionate about delivering excellent care.

Practice Details The hospital is equipped with advanced veterinary technology, including digital radiography, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, endoscopy, laparoscopy, rehabilitation services, and on-site CT and MRI. The AAHA-accredited facility emphasizes fear-free techniques and delivers a high standard of emergency and specialty care in a team-centered environment.

Team The team includes ten veterinarians working alongside a collaborative and experienced technical staff. The hospital fosters a positive culture focused on teamwork, mentorship, and continued professional growth.
