We are a large and growing emergency and specialty hospital located in beautiful Portland, Maine . Our facility is home to board-certified experts in Surgery, Emergency & Critical Care, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Oncology, Cardiology, and Dermatology .

What Youll DoAs a Veterinary Technician in Cardiology , youll be an integral part of our cardiology team, which includes a newly hired full-time cardiologist set to join us in late summer. This role involves technical, diagnostic, and client-focused responsibilities that directly contribute to high-quality outcomes for patients with complex cardiac conditions.
In this role, you will:
- Complete diagnostic testing including cardiac monitoring devices
- Support patient care
- Assist the cardiologist with ECGs and echocardiograms
- Position and capture digital radiographs
- Accurately calculate and administer medications
- Assist with case follow-up, patient updates, and client communication
- Participate in team rounds, treatment coordination, and patient flow management
Anticipated Schedule
This is a full-time position
- Four 10-hour weekdays: 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM
- Some holidays are required
Compensation
- Starting at $28/hr, final rate based on experience and licensure
- up to $2,5000 sign on bonus, commensurate with experience and licensure
