About the Role

As a Veterinary Technician, you will be an integral part of the veterinary team, assisting veterinarians in diagnostics, surgery, patient care, and client education. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in surgical procedures and monitoring anesthesia.
  • Collecting and processing laboratory samples (bloodwork, urinalysis, cytology, etc.).
  • Performing radiographs and other diagnostic imaging.
  • Administering medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by veterinarians.
  • Educating pet owners on post-surgical care, treatment plans, and preventive healthcare.
  • Handling and restraining animals safely and compassionately.
  • Maintaining accurate medical records and ensuring hospital cleanliness and efficiency.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) preferred, but open to experienced non-certified technicians.
  • Active Pennsylvania veterinary technician license (or eligibility to obtain one).
  • Minimum of 1+ years of clinical experience in a veterinary setting.
  • Proficiency in surgical assistance, laboratory diagnostics, and animal handling.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with veterinarians and support staff.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care for animals and their owners.
