About the Role
As an Internal Medicine Specialist, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and managing complex medical cases, working alongside a collaborative group of specialists in Surgery, Oncology, and Emergency Medicine. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing advanced diagnostics, including ultrasounds.
- Developing comprehensive treatment plans for complex cases.
- Working alongside a skilled team of Emergency Clinicians and Licensed Veterinary Technicians.
- Providing clinical guidance and support to referring veterinarians.
- Delivering high-quality, compassionate patient and client care.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited program.
- Board Certification (DACVIM) or Residency Training in Internal Medicine.
- Proficient in performing ultrasounds and other advanced diagnostic techniques.
- Highly organized and capable of managing a wide range of cases.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with specialists, ER doctors, and support staff.
