About the Role

As an Internal Medicine Specialist, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and managing complex medical cases, working alongside a collaborative group of specialists in Surgery, Oncology, and Emergency Medicine. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing advanced diagnostics, including ultrasounds.
  • Developing comprehensive treatment plans for complex cases.
  • Working alongside a skilled team of Emergency Clinicians and Licensed Veterinary Technicians.
  • Providing clinical guidance and support to referring veterinarians.
  • Delivering high-quality, compassionate patient and client care.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited program.
  • Board Certification (DACVIM) or Residency Training in Internal Medicine.
  • Proficient in performing ultrasounds and other advanced diagnostic techniques.
  • Highly organized and capable of managing a wide range of cases.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with specialists, ER doctors, and support staff.
