Job Summary
Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES INCLUDE:
· Update prescriptions through client or clinic visits, recommending products, consulting and responding to concerns of the clients.
· Daily contact with Animart animals along with client to help address immediate concerns and issues. It is our Veterinarian’s responsibility to keep an active and ongoing relationship with each client.
· Daily documentation of all visits and phone conversations, recommendations, prescriptions, and issues.
· Client/Staff Education
· Demonstrate and explain how to use products, which are most effective, and educating them on proper documentation to comply with Regulations.
· Answer questions and share product knowledge with sales staff in person and through conference calls, and attend informational sales meetings and vendor meetings.
· Product or procedure presentations to small groups * Work closely with the staff to keep records up to date and within the protocol requirements
· Develop strong knowledge of the company’s product lines and services.
· Develop educational and sales materials with marketing to promote Animart Pet.
· Contributing to building a quality work environment at Animart by taking initiative, respecting others, and being a team player. Following Animart policies and procedures. Using good communication by listening and sharing information to enable others to do their jobs more effectively. Using proper language and etiquette, setting a good example and treating customers and coworkers with respect and appreciation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. Enthusiasm, initiative, reliability, creativity, leadership, teamwork, confidentiality and an outgoing personality are important attributes for this individual. Professionalism, excellent organizational and communication skills are very important to this position. Candidate must possess effective listening skills, along with the ability to multi-task and problem solve.
· An overall understanding of small animal pets; knowledge of Animart animals; where they come from, common illnesses, etc., cease opportunities to learn from all species of animals that Animart sells.
· Must be customer driven and be able to understand client needs. Must strive to exceed customer expectations and be solutions oriented.
· Interest in new product and business development.
· Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office
· Ability to follow directions - prioritizes work, manage multiple projects, and work independently.
· Valid Wisconsin driver’s license.
· Must be able to give a minimum 6 week notice if there are plans to end employment.
