Veterinary Technician / Assistant

We are currently seeking a motivated and energetic candidate to work as a veterinary assistant at Clearwater Animal Clinic. Position can be full or part time and requires Saturday AM work. Experienced is preferred but can train. We are a busy hospital offering medical and surgical services, and provide dentistry services with dental X-rays as well as ultrasound, echography, and digital radiography. We are fully computerized using Avimark software. Computer skills required. Candidate must be reliable, capable of working alone as well as within the team, detail oriented and good at prioritizing and multi tasking. Candidate's duties will include taking vitals on patients, assisting veterinary technicians and veterinarians, running blood work and testing, communicating with owner about progress reports and explaining medications, taking history and keeping charts updated.
