AHeinz57 Pet Rescue & Transport is a 501c3 Non-profit animal welfare organization. We provide shelter, medical care, and adoption services to the homeless companion animals in most communities in Dallas County, Iowa. We also offer low cost spay/neuter clinics for our communities. We have our own surgery suite, exam room, digital x-ray, ultrasound and will soon have the ability to do dental x-rays. We use Idexx Neo software. This is a fast-paced environment and no 2 days are ever the same. We do believe most everyone deserves a 2nd chance, so we do have animals with behavior issues that we are working on. In order to work hear, you must have a heart for shelter animals. You must be able to handle barking dogs and feral cats. Our days can sometimes be challenging but it's always rewarding.
