Associated Veterinary Specialists opened in 1989 and has grown significantly throughout the years. Located in St Louis, Missouri, AVS is a privately owned, fully equipped practice providing specialty services including internal medicine and dentistry as well as 24/7 emergency care. The emergency department at Associated Veterinary Specialists is dedicated to delivering the highest quality of medical care for the benefit of our patients, their families, and veterinarians 24-hours a day, 7 days a week. Our emergency group is made up of a dedicated team of emergency doctors, licensed technician staff, and veterinary assistants. Our ER capabilities include emergency surgery, radiology, oxygen therapy, blood and blood product transfusions, and the ability to run a variety of bloodwork in house. Our ER doctors work collaboratively with our board certified internal medicine and dental specialists to help better meet the needs of our patients.
