Frontier Veterinary Clinic and Pet Resort is seeking a full-time associate veterinarian to join our team. We are an established and growing small animal practice in Abilene, TX. Culture and mentorship are extremely important in our clinic community. Hours of operation are weekdays 8am-5:30pm, with applicant’s work schedule to be mutually agreed upon. Most associates work 4 days a week. No emergency, after hours, weekend or on-call duties. All experience levels considered. New grads welcome to apply. Compensation package includes an attractive salary, paid dues (TVMA/AVMA), TX license, liability insurance, CE allowance and PTO. Appointments include a combination of annual wellness/preventative care visits and a variety of routine medical cases. Surgical duties are required and range from routine spay/neuter to soft tissue surgery and some orthopedics. We are a busy practice with a casual work environment, and our practice is enthusiastically supported by the community. Abilene is a one of a kind location within 2 hours of the DFW area boasting a small town feel, excellent schools, and many modern amenities minus TRAFFIC.
