The Babinski Foundation Animal shelter is seeking a full-time veterinarian to perform all aspect of shelter medicine in accordance with the ASPCA standards.
The shelter veterinarian will be responsible for the screening, diagnosis, and basic and emergency medical treatment and care for shelter animals. This includes high quality/high volume spay/neuter services, dentistry and internal medicine as well as vaccinations of animals to prevent diseases.
Our shelter veterinary will assist with procedures and protocols including but not limited to disease control, rounds, intake, quarantine etc.

Qualifications:
-Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD)
-Eligible to be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Minnesota
-Interest in progressive animal welfare and knowledge of shelter medicine
-An interest in and willingness to support the mission, vision and philosophy of The Babinski Foundation.
Salary:
90K plus benefit package

The Babinski Foundation Animal Shelter is a new 32,000 square foot, state-of- the-art facility located on 320 acres in Pequot Lakes, MN. We are a private 501 c3, No-Kill shelter in beautiful central Minnesota. We were founded in 2010 by Donald Babinski. Our mission is to strive to ensure a safe, healthy, and loving environment that will provide temporary shelter for abandoned, stray, stray and surrendered animals and to find each animal a new and prosperous home.
