Dallas Animal Services operates a full service, open admissions shelter that handles over 30,000 animals a year and is one of the largest shelters in the nation. Our medical team is dedicated to providing high quality medical care to our shelter animals, including spay/neuter, treatment of various medical conditions, and herd health maintenance. The Veterinarian will assist in developing, advancing, and implementing surgery and shelter medicine protocols; plus deliver and ensure humane medical treatment of all shelter animals.
