Description $120,000-$150,000 Base + Production No On-Call; AAHA-Accredited; Privately Owned Burr Ridge Veterinary Clinic - Darien, IL (Western Chicago Suburbs) Burr Ridge Veterinary Clinic, a privately owned, AAHA-accredited small animal hospital in the western Chicago suburbs, is seeking a full- or part-time Associate Veterinarian to join our collaborative, Fear Free-focused team. We have proudly served the pets and families of our community since 1975 and are known for providing compassionate, stress-free, relationship-centered care. What Sets Our Practice Apart No on-call or after-hours responsibilities 30-minute, appointment-based scheduling Dedicated certified technician for every appointment Three dedicated certified technicians assigned during surgery shifts Privately owned medical decisions driven by patient care, not corporate metrics Long-standing, loyal and appreciative clientele who support comprehensive care for their pets AAHA-accredited since 1992 Fear Free Certified Professionals on staff Cloud-based EMR Our spacious hospital has 8 exam rooms including a dedicated cat room and a comfort room. Equipment & Medical Capabilities Abaxis & Zoetis in-house laboratory equipment as well as 2x daily coordination with commercial labs Digital full-body and intraoral radiography Ultrasound EKG & Holter monitoring TonoVet Electrocautery Digital surgical monitoring Surgical and therapeutic laser We support growth in soft-tissue surgery, internal medicine, and special interests including exotic and avian medicine, if desired. Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $120,000-$150,000 (commensurate with experience) ProSal model with no negative accrual Medical & dental insurance Generous PTO 401(k) with employer match + profit sharing CE stipend All professional dues and license fees covered Uniform allowance Employee pet care discount About You We welcome experienced veterinarians and confident new graduates.
