We are currently seeking 1-2 licensed technicians to fill an upcoming part-time position. Join a dedicated team committed to providing high-quality, high-volume, low-cost spay and neuter and other veterinary services to the community. Position: Veterinary Technician Location: Fernbridge, California Schedule: 3 days per week, no nights, weekends, or on-call emergency shifts Compensation: $28-$35/hour DOE About Critters Without Litters: Critters Without Litters is a California-licensed, nonprofit spay and neuter clinic staffed by licensed veterinarians and skilled veterinary professionals. The clinic provides affordable, compassionate care to cats and dogs while supporting community programs such as TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) and Spay It Forward. Responsibilities: * Monitor and care for animals before, during, and after surgery * Intubate, medicate, and prepare animals for surgery * Assist veterinarians during spay/neuter surgeries and other medical procedures * Prepare surgical equipment and maintain a sterile environment * Administer medications and vaccinations * Educate clients on post-operative care and answer questions * Perform blood draws and laboratory tests * Maintain accurate medical records and patient files * Manage daily, weekly, and monthly controlled substance logs * Collaborate with the veterinary team to ensure the highest standard of care Qualifications: * Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting * MUST have current California Registered Veterinary Technician certification * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Compassion, patience, and empathy toward animals and their people * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills How to Apply: Send a resume and cover letter to ....
