Associate Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is an AAHA accredited small animal veterinary hospital that is hiring for an Associate Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. The hospital sees cats and dogs and offers a collaborative clinical environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care and client service.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves a full scope of general practice responsibilities within a supportive and collaborative clinical setting. The successful candidate will practice in accordance with evidence-based medicine and professional standards of care while contributing to the continued enhancement of veterinary best practice guidelines. Responsibilities also include fostering a culture of preventive healthcare through client education, wellness plans, and strong client partnerships, while educating both the paraprofessional team and clients to strengthen the human-pet bond. The veterinarian will play an important role in supporting an inclusive and collaborative veterinary and resort support team by communicating medical standards, ethical practices, and veterinary knowledge. Flexible scheduling options are available to support a balance between professional and personal commitments. This position is suited to an experienced veterinarian bringing expertise, leadership, and a passion for pet health, with at least three years of previous experience as a DVM. USDA Accreditation is considered preferable.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday from 9:00am to 4:00pm. The practice is an AAHA accredited and well-equipped facility supporting a full scope of general practice services. Services offered include diagnostics, routine wellness exams and checkups, vaccinations, and comprehensive general practice care. This clinic is also part of a strategic expansion into veterinary medicine, transforming the company from a pet hospitality provider into an integrated pet-care platform through the co-location of veterinary clinics with existing pet resorts.

Team
The practice is home to one veterinarian supported by a well tenured team of support staff, creating a stable, collaborative, and supportive working environment focused on quality patient care and professional teamwork.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
