Job description:
Rio Linda Veterinary Clinic is looking for a Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant to join our team! This position is located in Rio Linda, CA. We are a very busy privately owned small animal veterinary practice. Our focus is on superb customer service with a small town feel. We also offer a full range of medical services to help care for our feline and canine friends.

Shift: Wednesday - Saturday 7:30am to 7:00pm (Applicant required to work each day and full shift. No other shifts available. Unable to accommodate student schedule)

Responsibilities:
Obtain histories from clients
Weigh and temp patients
Administer vaccines & medications
Fill prescriptions
In-house lab testing
Sterile surgery preparation
Restrain pets
Educate clients
Clean and wrap surgery packs
Call clients with lab results
Take radiographs

Experience:
- 1 year of experience in a veterinary hospital preferred
