Introduction
Our client is a small animal general practice hospital hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. The clinic provides compassionate, high-quality care for dogs and cats, with a strong focus on building long-term relationships with clients and delivering personalized veterinary services.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday and Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with Sunday closed. The role offers flexibility with both full-time and part-time options available.
Role Description and Responsibilities
This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates. Responsibilities include delivering small animal medicine such as wellness care, diagnostics, surgery, and dental services, while maintaining strong client communication and building lasting relationships. The role involves providing high-quality patient care, utilizing diagnostic imaging, and working collaboratively within a supportive team environment.
Practice Details
The hospital has been serving the community for over 20 years and is equipped with advanced technology including laparoscopy, abdominal ultrasound, and cardiac ultrasound. Services include general wellcare, spay and neuter procedures, vaccinations, dental care, diagnostics and imaging, surgery, as well as additional services such as boarding, daycare, grooming, and a pharmacy. The clinic emphasizes a family-doctor approach, fostering strong client relationships while delivering personalized and compassionate care in a collaborative setting.
Team
The team consists of 1 DVM supported by a great tenured support team, creating a close-knit and collaborative working environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
