VCA Valley Animal Hospital and Emergency Center is looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant for our Internal Medicine Department to share in our exciting, fast-paced environment. Most importantly, the ideal candidate will have excellent client service and communication skills, as we are a client-centric practice. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Venipuncture Catheter placement Radiology Anesthesia monitoring Physical examinations and patient assessment Surgical preparation and assisting Laboratory work Pharmacy Patient recovery Compassionate care for hospitalized patients QUALIFICATIONS Must have documented previous experience Flexibility in schedule Client Service Skills Working knowledge of computers Excellent communication skills Team player willing to learn new techniques and methods We're excited to hear from you!
