Ashland Pet Concierge is hiring a reliable Dog Walker / Pet Sitter to provide professional pet care services for dogs and other household pets. This part-time, flexible role is ideal for someone with experience in animal care, dog walking, or pet sitting who is passionate about pet safety, routine care, and client communication. Key Responsibilities Provide dog walking services on scheduled routes Deliver in-home pet sitting and daily pet care Handle leash walking, safety, and basic dog training reinforcement Monitor pet health, behavior, and overall well-being Feed pets, refresh water, and administer medications as needed Clean up waste, litter boxes, and maintain sanitary pet areas Provide companionship, enrichment, and exercise Send real-time updates/photos via Time To Pet app Follow detailed client instructions and customized care plans Perform light house sitting tasks (mail collection, plant care) Requirements Experience in dog walking, pet sitting, or animal care preferred Ability to safely manage multiple dogs of varying sizes and temperaments Knowledge of dog behavior, handling, and basic training Strong communication and customer service skills Dependable, punctual, and highly organized Physically able to walk dogs in various weather conditions Access to reliable transportation Availability for a flexible, part-time schedule (including weekdays/weekends as needed) Flexible, part-time work in the growing pet care industry Hands-on experience with dogs and companion animals Supportive, animal-focused team environment Benefits: Cell phone reimbursement Employee discount Flexible schedule On-the-job training Paid training Referral program Experience: Animal care: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: In person in one or more of these areas: Ashland, Framingham, Holliston, Hopkinton, Marlborough, Southborough, Sudbury, Westborough.
