The incumbent is responsible for developing and delivering training on all aspects of animal care, safety, and departmental processes. This position will also develop assessment and evaluation tools, which he/she will use to create training plans for staff to aid in their development. Minimum Qualifications Required Education: Bachelor's Certifications or Licenses Required: ALAT Certification, Number of years required to perform the job: 3 Type of experience required to perform the job: Experience in a laboratory animal facility. Substitution: Four years of experience in a laboratory animal facility, with at least 2 of the 4 years training employees, may substitute for the Bachelor's Degree. Other relevant teaching/educational experience may substitute for the required experience on a year by year basis.
