This role is essential to the health, comfort, and happiness of our boarding petsand to the overall success of our veterinary team.

About the Role As a Kennel Technician, you will play a vital part in our patients daily care and well-being. Responsibilities include:
  • Providing daily boarding care (feeding, walking, cleaning, monitoring)
  • Maintaining clean, sanitary, and safe kennel areas
  • Bathing and performing basic grooming services (nail trims, ear cleanings, anal gland expression)
    Assisting veterinary staff with safe pet handling and comfort support
  • Monitoring pets for changes in behavior or health and promptly reporting concerns
    Treating every pet as if they were your own
This is an active, fast-paced position that requires physical stamina, strong attention to detail, and a genuine love for animals.

This Is Not the Job for You If
  • You are uncomfortable around dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments
  • You dislike cleaning (sanitation is a major part of this role)
  • You struggle with being on your feet most of the day
  • You are unable to lift and handle pets and equipment safely
  • You prefer working independently rather than as part of a team

Schedule Requirements
  • Full-time (3040 hours per week)
  • Shifts between 7:00 a.m. 6:00 p.m.
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays
