DPC Veterinary Hospital is looking for an experienced technician to join our team!
Our technicians work closely with the veterinarians to ensure excellent patient care. The ideal candidate is self-motivated with a strong work ethic. Individuals must be able to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Obtain and record accurate patient histories.
Perform venipuncture for phlebotomy and IV catheter placement.
Administer SQ, IM and IV injections.
Obtain laboratory samples and run tests on respective machines
Restrain animals in a safe, efficient and compassionate manner during examinations and procedures
Take digital radiographs
Triage emergencies
Enthusiastic, self-motivated, strong technical skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task and excellent interpersonal skills.
Emphasizing high quality medicine, effectively communicating with clients/client education, professional, efficient and exceptional customer service at all times.
Benefits include medical, dental and vision, 401k, PTO and uniform allowance.
Compensation is dependent upon experience.
Weekends a must, day shift only.
