Veterinarian

Scott’s Addition Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time associate veterinarian to join our two-doctor team.  We are a family owned and operated, bustling, small animal, general practice.  Our clinic is located in Richmond, Virginia’s historic Scott’s Addition District.  Scott’s Addition is the center of Richmond’s brewery and cidery scene and is located close to many museums and exciting nightlife. 

SAAH has been serving Richmond and the surrounding area for 4 years.  We currently have a well-trained support team of which many of its members have been employed since opening day. Our current support team consists of four licensed technicians, four veterinary assistants, and three customer service representatives.   We offer a focus on preventative medicine, medical examinations, surgery, and dentistry and strive to meet our core values which are respect, empathy, and compassion daily.   We have a fully equipped surgical suite, surgical laser, therapeutic laser, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, and a complete Idexx in-house laboratory. 

We are looking for new graduates or experienced veterinarians whose goal is to create a positive impact in the lives of patients and their owners.  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must.  We currently have experienced clinicians and mentors dedicated to practicing high-quality medicine and building lasting relationships with our clients and are looking to add more.

• Must have a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school.
• Must be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Virginia
