General Practice (Medical Director Veterinarian)

Introduction
Our client is a hospital in Rancho Cucamonga, California, seeking an experienced Medical Director to lead a state-of-the-art, full-service veterinary practice. This role is ideal for a veterinarian with strong leadership skills and a passion for general practice, surgery, and dentistry. The hospital is known for delivering high-quality, compassionate care to the community's pets seven days a week.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position with the hospital open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. Weekend coverage is part of the rotation to support the hospital's 7-day service.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Medical Director will be responsible for overseeing clinical protocols, leading the medical team, and ensuring high standards of care across the hospital. Clinical duties include preventive care, surgery, dentistry, ophthalmology, diagnostics, and emergency care. This position is open to experienced veterinarians with a desire to mentor, manage, and guide a growing team.

Practice Details
The hospital features advanced equipment including digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, surgical laser, ECG/EKG, a full dental suite with digital dental X-rays, and root canal therapy tools. The in-house lab supports rapid diagnostics with bloodwork, urinalysis, and fecal exams. Services offered include wellness exams, vaccinations, surgery, dental care, ophthalmology, emergency care, and boarding and bathing services for cats and dogs.

The team includes multiple DVMs and a skilled support staff working in a collaborative, compassionate environment. The culture emphasizes mentorship, teamwork, and the continuous delivery of top-tier veterinary care to patients across Rancho Cucamonga and the Inland Empire.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
