Our client is a hospital seeking a Specialty Medical Director to join their multi-doctor team. This facility is dedicated to providing high-quality care for dogs and cats, with a strong focus on collaboration, creativity, and compassion throughout the organization.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates 24/7, providing continuous care for patients. This role is a full time position, however they are open to a discussion regarding scheduling.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Specialty Medical Director will be responsible for delivering high-level medical care, contributing to a team that handles a range of critical conditions including trauma, seizures, toxic ingestion, and severe gastrointestinal issues. Working alongside ER doctors and specialists, the veterinarian will play a key role in a fast-paced environment that values both independent and collaborative clinical decision-making.

Practice Details
This AAHA-accredited hospital offers 24/7 emergency and multi-specialty services. The practice is equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment tools, including ultrasound, CT, and endoscopy. The caseload includes emergency and critical care cases, supported by infrastructure and resources designed to enhance clinical outcomes.

Team
The hospital is staffed by a multi-doctor team including specialists in Internal Medicine, Oncology, and Surgery, as well as a group of experienced ER doctors. The environment is supportive and collaborative, with leadership guidance provided through the Medical Initiatives Committee to help shape the hospitals services and foster team development.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so

• A base salary + production, and no negative accrual
