Veterinary Technician

We are a unique full-service pet care business  that serves all of a pet’s needs under one roof in a one-stop, experiential setting. We combine trusted vet services with other animal care products and services to serve pets and their owners.
We are seeking a new Veterinary Technician to join our team. Your role will be to - 

Provide animal care by determining animal requirements.

Triage animals, record medical histories and take vital signs
Conduct diagnostic procedures.
Assist during operations.
Maintain supplies and equipment.
Maintain records in practice management software.
Complete laboratory tests and studies and diagnostic imaging. Collect and process lab samples.
Take vital signs and collects samples.
Administer medications, drugs, and vaccines.
Support animal examinations by assembling required supplies and instruments.
Explain animal status to owners and educate and counsel clients..
Complete local/regional anesthesia.
Place catheters.
Maintain sterile conditions.
Obtain and verify medications.
Clean animal cages and equipment
 

What You Will Bring:
Our ideal candidate will have at least 1-3 years of relevant experience and the following credentials/skills:

• High School or GED Diploma
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Animal Care including small animals
• Compassionate with patients and owners
• Surgical Monitoring
• Proficient in veterinary software
• Preventive Care
• Heartworm Testing
• Client Education
• CVT is a plus
